How to Keep Your Slippers From Smelling Bad
Instructions
- Wash your slippers regularly. Most slippers made
of cloth or even ones with stuffing in them can be
thrown in the washing machine with laundry soap and
washed. Depending on how frequently you wear your
slippers at home, you should wash them once or more
than once per week.
- Dry your slippers thoroughly after washing and
between wearing if your feet sweat. The best way to
dry slippers is to hang them outside in the fresh
air. This will give them a burst of good scent
instead of staying damp too long and growing musty.
- Wear socks inside your slippers to help prevent
foot odor from soaking into the slippers. Socks are
easier to wash than slippers, especially if you
slippers have leather or rubbery soles.
- Use foot powder or any powder containing corn
starch or other moisture fighter. This will keep
your feet more comfortable and your slippers form
smelling like stinky feet. Put powder on your feet
and in your slippers for maximum effectiveness.
